Fixed/improved SNTP time updates to update a maximum of once every 8 hours

Fixed a capture timing bug which caused the camera to capture repeatedly. This occurred when the capture interval was longer than the time between midnight and the start time

Improvements were made to the Ethernet power saving modes

Fixed a problem where PakBus file transfers would stop operating properly. The symptom is that very small incomplete files are only transferred. This problem could occur when using power operating modes other than the “OFF” mode

Report an error condition when file transfers are made and the destination datalogger is out of memory

Fixed an issue where received NULL characters were occasionally being dropped, mainly in MODBUS mode.

Lengths of the stop bits in two stop bit mode were too long, these have now been shortened to the correct length.

Fixed a bug where the camera would not go into a low powered mode when using Deep Sleep or Partially On modes. The problem occurs when specific start and stop times are set.

Added video buffering capability. This feature allows recording of up to 30 seconds of video preceding the occurrence of an event in both the external trigger and motion detect events to record. This feature only works when the camera is configured for fully on power mode.

Fixed a problem in DevConfig, now the proper network information is displayed when DHCP mode is enabled.

Corrected the display of some special text characters in the image and video banners.

Added new image links which preserve the original filename when using web based image retrieval.

Added auto-configuration functionality for link-local Network IP address. This functionality simplifies a direct connection between a CC5MPX and a computer. When directly connected to a computer the CC5MPX will be accessible using the IP address 169.254.99.99. In most cases no Networking setup or configuration will be required for the CC5MPX or the computer.

Web server links have been created to the newest image files that are stored on the camera SD memory card. An example link (see manual for full details) to the newest Self Timed Still #1 is as follows: http://192.168.1.90/newest/stc1.jpg

Added more feedback to the web page during a firmware update.

Added support for SMTP (EMAIL) TLS (Transport Layer Security) connections. The TLS encryption is used by some email servers such as GMAIL.

Added the ability to control the window defroster using PakBus commands sent from a datalogger (using the SendVariables command).

Added the ability to update a Still Image or video banner by using PakBus to send a string variable from a datalogger (using the SendVariables command).

Added support for remote configuration of a camera that is connected to a datalogger by using PakBus Graph.

Added a new feature where configuration settings can be saved or loaded from the web interface. The XML configuration files that are saved or loaded are compatible with the Device Configuration utility as well.

Fixed a problem where the motion detect captures would stop up if no SD card was present.

Web page status box will indicate when the SD card is being scanned. The scan process can take several minutes to complete and it will be invoked if the camera is shutdown by an unexpected reset or power removal.

Fixed a problem where a clock update would cause the camera to reset.

Improved Low light capability for still images.

Enabled PakBus parameter changes that are made from the web interface to take effect immediately as opposed to after a reboot.

Webpage System Status box indicates message "Scan in progress" when an SD Memory Card scan is in progress. Webpage doesn't allow captures or live video during SD Memory Card scan.

Prevent the entry of a zero value for the Video recording duration.

FTP client ignores errors on ALLO command.

During video recording the following items are temporarily disabled, Motion detection and the focussing number updates.

SD Memory Card manager now scans and if needed repairs memory cards on every power up or exit from the Off low powered mode. This will correct memory card errors due to power loss shutdowns.

Fixed midnight overflow timing bugs that occurred when the capture event is configured to take multiple pictures and the capturing starts before midnight and spans midnight.

Made improvements to motion detect operation. Introduced the "adaptive" motion detect functionality. Uses dynamic detection threshold that is based on the standard deviation of last 20 seconds of video.

Improved SD card file management performance by reducing processing delays associated with the file management functionality. This functionality is achieved by utilizing “index.bin” files to keep track of memory card file information.

There was an issue with accessing the CC5MPX behind a NAT firewall. Fixed the web server so that relative links are used instead of absolute links.

Added counter extension to files named with time stamps. The counter extension is required for pictures taken by the external trigger which can be more frequent than 1 picture per second.

Improved PakBus RS-485 file transfer reliability.

Made improvements to Ethernet connection functionality.

Software was added to prevent the camera from entering the low powered mode while the web browser was actively in use.

Several improvements were made to the PakBus communications.
