- CR1000X(e) OSv9.0.0Login required
April 17, 2026
OS and FirmwareThis download is for the CR1000X and CR1000Xe dataloggers. Execution of this download places the Operating System file(.obj) on your computer. It also updates the CRBasic Editor compiler and support files. Why Update? New features and bug fixes. With this OS update it is recommended that you also update the Device Configuration Utility to the most recent version so that new datalogger features are available in the utility. Note/Warning: Campbell Scientific always recommends updating operating systems on site if possible. When remote updates are required, it is recommended that you implement the necessary precautions to handle unexpected OS upload complications. All datalogger settings should be retained when updated remotely. If you choose to roll back to a previous operating system, the datalogger settings will be reset to default. Watch the Video Tutorial: Sending an OS to a Local Datalogger.
- EasyFlux DL for Open-Path Eddy-Covariance System using a CR1000X(e)v2.02Login required
October 31, 2025
Software ApplicationsCR1000X datalogger program for Campbell open-path eddy-covariance systems.
- CR1000X Web Browser Interfacev1.2Login required
September 13, 2024
OS and FirmwareStandard Datalogger Web Browser Interface Use this download to update the data logger's web browser interface. To install this file, send it to the data logger using file control found in the Device Configuration Utility or file control found in LoggerNet. This interface is recommended for fast IP interfaces like Ethernet and Wi-Fi. It does NOT perform well over slow communications mediums like cellular. Note: This is NOT for system data loggers that have custom interfaces like the SunSentry, Hydro-Link, Alert205, and MeteoPV.
- CS547a Program Examples for CR1000X and CR1000 Data Loggersv1Login required
February 24, 2022
Software ApplicationsFour programs are included: two CR1000X programs and two CR1000 programs. The first CR1000X and CR1000 programs measure the sensor and correct for cable resistance, EC ionization, and temperature. These programs use constants for KC (printed on the sensor label), cable length, and temperature coefficient (see manual). These values should be changed to fit your sensor. Also included are a CR1000X and a CR1000 program for calibrating the sensor. Newer data loggers such as the CR6 are programmed similarly to the CR1000X. Older data loggers such as the CR800-series and CR3000 are programmed similarly to the CR1000.
- SnowVue Program Example for GRANITE-Series, CR6, CR1000X Dataloggersv1Login required
November 3, 2021
Software ApplicationsTwo programs that read the SnowVue 10 sensor. One program performs temperature compensation to provide snow depth. The other program uses extended commands to send the air temperature and distance to ground to the sensor and the sensor calculates the snow depth. Both example programs are compatible with the GRANITE-series, CR6, and CR1000X dataloggers.
- TX326 and TX325 Program Example for GRANITE, CR6, CR1000X, or CR300 Data Loggersv6
October 18, 2021
Software ApplicationsGRANITE-series, CR6, CR1000X, or CR300-series data logger program for the TX326 and TX325 that sets up self-timed and random transmissions and reads diagnostic information. Another program is available for the TX325 with the CR3000, CR1000, or CR800-series data loggers because they are programmed differently.
- CSAT3BH CR1000X Programsv2.03Login required
November 20, 2020
Software ApplicationsCR1000X datalogger programs for the CSAT3BH with SDM and CPI communications protocols. Warning: This program is not intended for the CSAT3H Heater Controller Enclosure. Please contact Campbell Scientific for any questions regarding the CSAT3H Heater Controller program.
- CR1000X CS120A example programsv1
March 18, 2020
Software ApplicationsCR1000X programs that use the MSSET and MSGET commands.
- CR1000X CS125 example programsv1
March 18, 2020
Software ApplicationsCR1000X programs that read continuous data and polled data and use the SET, SETNC, and GET commands. The program that uses the SETNC command powers the CS125 hood heaters when needed according to the dew point. A HygroVUE5 Air Temperature and Relative Humidity Sensor provides the measurements used in the dew point calculation.
- CR1000X HFP01SC Example programv2
February 18, 2020
Software ApplicationsCR1000X program that measures the HFP01SC, performs the self-calibration, and checks for calibration validity. Refer to the manual for the equations used for the self-calibration and calibration-validity checks. A table in the manual provides a cross reference of the terms in the equations in the manual with the constants and variables in the example data logger program.
- CR1000X CNR4 Program Controlling the CNF4 Heater/Ventilatorv1
October 17, 2019
Software ApplicationsCR1000X program measures the CNR4 and controls the CNF4 heater/ventilator based on environmental conditions, and monitors the CNF4 tachometer. The program uses an EE181 temperature and relative humidity sensor and a 03002 Wind Sentry to provide the measurements for determining when to turn the fan and heater on and off. An A21REL-12 relay switches power to the CNF4.
- CR1000X CNR4 Program using Thermistorv1
October 17, 2019
Software ApplicationsCR1000X program that uses differential terminals to measure the four radiation outputs and one excitation terminal and one single-ended terminal to measure the thermistor. The program measures the sensors every 1 second, performs the online processing of the data, and stores processed data to a data table called cnr4_data once every 60 minutes. It also stores the raw time-series data from CNR4 to data table called cnr4_ts.
