The purpose of the course, annually held in Italy, is to guide participants on how to plan and execute effective geotechnical and structural monitoring programs under the guidance of international leading experts and the direction of John Dunnicliff. The course will focus on the following main topics:

• Basic concepts on monitoring and planning
• Contact monitoring methods
• Remote monitoring methods
• Vibration monitoring
• Offshore monitoring
• Analysis and interpretation of data

An exclusive combination of lessons, workshops, presentations given by participants and partners, and an optional field trip (on 10th June) on a large landslide site for one of the most advanced and highly professional courses ever organized about Geotechnical and Structural Monitoring.
