Campbell Scientific dataloggers, radios and modems provide ALERT data transmission, reception and repeater capability. Low-cost, simple
transmitters are available. However, optional multi-channel radios
have the capability to operate on one frequency for ALERT and on
another for Campbell Scientific's own LoggerNet software. This
powerful option merges remote ALERT repeater configuration and the
flexibility of our RF telemetry data collection methods with the
ALERT standard.
Campbell Scientific's certified SAT HDR GOES transmitter complies
with the GOES Satellite High Data Rate (HDR) specifications. The
transmitter supports transmission lengths from one to 120 seconds at
low and high data rates, including 100, 300, and 1200 bps. Short
transmission lengths enable multiple stations to use the same NESDIS-
assigned window. A GPS receiver and antenna are included to acquire
time and position data.
