The Brazilian Congress of Meteorology (CBMET) is the main event promoted by SBMET , being held biannually with the purpose of presenting and promoting the discussion on technological innovations in Meteorology, bringing together researchers from different national and international institutions.

With a diversified program, CBMET 2022 will allow the presentation of teaching, research and extension methodologies; presentation of the most recent scientific results and advances in the knowledge of the main meteorological systems important in weather and climatological forecasting in several Brazilian regions, the result of research carried out in universities and in centers dedicated to research and operationalization of Meteorology. The participation of public and private companies that develop equipment and instruments for measuring and monitoring meteorological parameters should provide the main technological contributions of the event.
