Overview
The 7865 thermocouple cable is incorporated into the 229 Water Matric Potential Sensor. It consists of four 24 AWG, conductor wires. Three of the conductors are copper, and one conductor is constantan. The constantan wire and one of the copper wires are combined to make a type T thermocouple. The remaining two copper wires are used to excite the heating element of the 229 sensor.
