The CM270 kit has replaced the 14114; some replacement parts remain available (see Ordering Info). The funnel of the 14114 allowed the measured catch from the rain gage to be collected in a bucket. Its mounting bracket provided a stand-off space in which to attach the funnel, a secure mount for the base of a TE525-series rain gage, and a threaded connection point for a mounting post.
