Although the 21X is retired, this PROM set is available for existing 21X customers. The OSX-0.1 PROM set consists of: pn 6145 (1st PROM), pn 6146 (2nd PROM), and pn 6147 (3rd PROM). It contains a standard instruction set plus covariance/correlation, initiate telecommunications, send character, and SDM operation. The OSX-0:1 also supports three-level, password-prompted security for data and programs. This PROM set was shipped if no PROM set was specified when the 21X was purchased.

The standard 21X instruction set contains 22 instructions for measurement and control output, 39 instructions for data processing, and 9 instructions for program control. Further description of 21X instruction sets is available in the 21X Manual (Sections 9-12).

The PROM may be installed by the customer or sent to our factory for installation. Factory installation requires an RMA. Standard checkout of the unit following a PROM upgrade is strongly recommended; this process includes the technician confirming operation of the data logger's Operating System and I/O channels by several methods and over the standard operating temperature range.
