Overview
The 3782 12-Plate Gill Radiation Shield was a naturally aspirated, 12-plate radiation shield that has been retired. Its louvered construction allowed air to pass freely through the shield thereby serving to keep the probe at or near ambient temperature. The shield's white color served to reflect solar radiation. The 3782 mounted directly to the mast of one of our tripods.
