The SDMX50SP is comprised of the SDMX50 circuit board, RF shield (front panel), and a small back panel that has mounting cutouts. A bracket for strain relief is also included. Both the multiplexer case and the strain relief bracket have drilled mounting holes on 1” spacing. The unit can be attached to the backplate of a Campbell Scientific enclosure or customer-supplied enclosure. The multiplexer case is 5” x 9” and 1” thick. The SDMX50SP requires 12 Vdc power and is controlled by the datalogger using SDM communication.
The SDMX50SP is a 50 ohm, coaxial, 8:1 multiplexer with surge protection; 12 Vdc power is required. This multiplexer uses Campbell Scientific's SDM communications protocol and can be controlled via a datalogger or a computer running our TDR Support Software.
