The PS512M consisted of a sealed rechargeable battery, power supply/regulator, and null modem ports. It provided both 5 and 12 Vdc sources for powering peripherals and external devices. The internal rechargeable battery (7.0 Ahr) could be recharged by a solar panel or ac power. The PS512M was typically used at non-datalogger sites such as phone-to-RF base stations.
