The PS1502B was a part of a 1502B or 1502CCS TDR-based System; these systems have been replaced by TDR100-based systems.
The PS1502B Power Control Module plugged into the rear-panel battery receptacle of the 1502CCS or 1502B. It connected an external 12 Vdc source to a data logger control port. Turning off the 1502 when measurements were not being made saved significant power and allowed remote operation.
