CR300 internet connection through Quasar modem

Hello,

I have CR300 datalogger (OS CR300.Std.04.00) and I want to connect it to the internet through RS232 port, PPP connection and Quasar Q2403 modem. My basic question is - how to do it? Are there any more detailed articles/manual/info about it?

Previously I was working with CR1000 and Sierra FXT009 modem and it was working, so I thought this will be very similar, but it is not... PPP network status in Device Configuration utility does not show anything so it looks that logger is not trying to dial, even if RS232 port is selected and Dial string and response are set. CR basic command FTPClient() looks like unsupported...

How is the status of development of this logger?

just for info - OS v5.01 solved both - internet connection and also FTPClient() problems.

Thank you for the update Smeck.  Happy to see that you were able to have your issue resolved by updating the OS to the latest in the datalogger.  We appreciate the feedback.
