LidarLite triggering while using I2C

marpa Jul 28, 2016 09:37 AM

Hi everyone,

I am trying to externally trigger the Lidar Lite v2 while using I2C communication insted of PWM. However, it seems it does not work.

I connected mode pin wire over resistor 4K7  to arduino pin (according to the description provided by PulsedLight which produces the lidar, that is how one setups the trigger wiring). I use their library of I2C communication, and even though I leave the pin on arduino HIGH (which means not to take measurements) it still measures. With PWM it works fine, but with I2C it does not. Is it possible that the lidar cannot be triggered externally when using I2C?

Thanks for your replies.

Cheers, marpa
