10hs sensors

Carlos310777 Jun 3, 2016 05:01 PM

Hello.  I want install 15 sensor 10hs in a cr1000 logger. But when I do the progamos with shortcut online can add 10 sensors. It is posible to do a crbasic program with 15 sensors, I must put the red wire in single ender and White in sw12v. What is a diferencia between 12v and sw12v port.

Thanks

You can create a source file (program files *.CR1) with only 10 probes using SHORTCUT, after with a slight modification through CRBasic, you make it suitable file for 15 probes.
The CR1000 has 16 channels, so one is left free.
The difference between 12V and SW12V is that the 12V terminals are always ON, while with 12SW, you can by program (files *.CR1) check it to planned turn off/on the sensors when not needed, if for example you have to save energy. (15 mA * 15 probes = 225 mA)

SHORTCUT often creates a limit to the number of wires to be inserted into a terminal. It could be a problem to insert all 15 wires in SW12 terminal, but with a simple solution you can solve this problem.
