Does the CR1000 have Simple Management Network Protocol SMNP Server?

The CR1000 does support SNMP under some conditions but it will likely not do you any good. The MIB supported was created by NTCIP for road weather reporting. The SNMP service is only supported by the datalogger if the ESSInitialize() instruction is invoked within the datalogger program. The ESSVariables instruction will declare the variables used by the NTCIP ESS 1204 and NTCIP 1201 MIB files.

The problem with SNMP support in a generalised fashion, at least with the current logger operating system's network stack, is that the MIB table has to be known when the logger operating system is compiled. This probably means that, unless the NTCIP MIB has what you want in it, the SNMP support that is there will probably not fit your needs.

If your purpose is to fit the datalogger into some favourite network management package then I am afraid that there is no workaround. If, however, you are trying to use a standardised way of getting data from the datalogger using Internet protocols, then you are probably better served by the HTTP support that has been in the datalogger operating system for some time.

Has there been any update or future plans for some kind of MIB file for the dataloggers?  I noticed that CS does have its own PEN registered:
