Although some replacement parts remain available, the CH512R was retired, effective 18 May 2004. The CH512R was replaced by the CH100/A100 combination. The CH512R was a charging regulator that provides both 5 and 12 Vdc sources for powering peripherals and null ports for connecting modems. It was typically used at non-datalogger sites such as phone-to-RF base stations.
