From the USGS:
The USGS Regional Water Data Conference 2017, sponsored by Hydrologic Data Advisory Committee (HDAC), will offer in-depth training opportunities, as well as formal conference presentations. The agenda will be geared toward USGS personnel involved in hydrologic data collection, though invitations are extended to USGS personnel nationwide. Through numerous presentations, workshops, poster sessions, and vendor exhibits, the conference will provide information on the latest technologies used in the collection and processing of surface-water, water-quality, and groundwater data. This year's conference theme is "Milestones: Honoring our Legacy, Celebrating our Future."
The purpose of this conference is to help raise the productivity, efficiency, and quality of USGS data collection efforts. Attendees are expected to return to their Water Science Centers and pass along what they learned from the conference to others at their Center.
We have a variety of topics being covered with emphasis on water quality, surface water, groundwater, sediment, and acoustics.
