Enclosure Hole Options - show details
-SC -SC 1 Conduit for Cables
The -SC option provides one 1.5-in diameter conduit on the underside of the enclosure. Multiple cables can be routed through this conduit. The 7363 enclosure supply kit contains a plug that can reduce the conduit's internal diameter to 0.5" and putty for sealing the conduit.
-DC -DC 2 Conduits for Cables
The -DC option provides two 1.5-in diameter conduits on the underside of the enclosure. Multiple cables can be routed through each conduit. The 7363 enclosure supply kit contains plugs that can reduce the conduits' internal diameter to 0.5" and putty for sealing the conduits.
-VC -VC 2 Vert Cable Conduits
The -VC option is similar to the -DC option, except the conduits are stacked vertically. The -VC option provides two 1.5-in diameter conduits on the underside of the enclosure. Multiple cables can be routed through each conduit. The 7363 enclosure supply kit contains plugs that can reduce the conduits' internal diameter to 0.5" and putty for sealing the conduits.
-ES -ES 6 Entry Seals for Cab
Choose the -ES entry seals option for a more water-tight seal than provided by the conduits. With this option, each entry seal is compressed around one cable. A small vent is included to equalize pressure with the atmosphere. The ENC14/16 is fitted with (2) large, (2) medium, and (2) small cable entry seals.

The acceptable cable diameters are:
Large—0.236" to 0.512" (6 to 13 mm)
Medium—0.231" to 0.394" (5.8 to 10 mm)
Small—0.187" to 0.312" (4.75 to 8 mm)
-NC -NC No Conduit/Entry Seal
This option is available for customers who wish to spend time in a shop customizing the enclosure with cable entry options of their own design. Experience in working with fiberglass-related products is recommended.
Backplate Options - show details
-SB -SB Standard Backplate
The -SB option provides a backplate that is prepunched with one-inch-on-center holes for mounting equipment. This mounting scheme simplifies system configuration and facilitates addition and removal of equipment in the field.
-EL -EL Backplate w/Left Side
With this option, the side plate is mounted on the left side of the enclosure. Both the backplate and the sideplate include a grid of one-inch-on-center holes for mounting devices.
-ER -ER Backplate w/RightSide
With this option, the side plate is mounted on the right side of the enclosure. Both the backplate and the sideplate include a grid of one-inch-on-center holes for mounting devices.
Enclosure Mounts - show details
-NM -NM No Enclosure Mounting
With this option, the enclosure is shipped without brackets. Customers who will bolt their enclosure to a flat surface should choose the -NM option. The no bracket option might also be appropriate for applications in which the enclosure will be set on a table.
-MM -MM Tripod Mast Mounting
Order the "-MM" option if you want to mount your enclosure to the mast of one of our tripods or to a user-supplied pole with a 1.25" to 2.1" OD. A three-piece, stainless-steel bracket attaches to the top of the enclosure and an identical three-piece, stainless-steel bracket attaches to the bottom of the enclosure. Each bracket is attached to the mast or pole via a 2" U-bolt.
-LM -LM CM106 Leg Mounting
The "-LM" option allows the enclosure to be attached to the leg base of a CM106, CM106B, CM110, CM115, or CM120 tripod. This option includes a metal flange, two stainless-steel brackets, and a 2.5" U-bolt. The brackets attach to the right and left side of the enclosure, and the flange attaches to the tripod near the mast. The flange fits into a notch in one of the brackets, and the other bracket connects to a tripod leg via the U-bolt.
-TM -TM Tower Mounting
Order the "-TM" option if you want to mount your enclosure to a UT10, UT20, or UT30 tower. This mounting bracket option uses the same 3-piece, stainless-steel brackets as the "-MM" option, except the pieces are rearranged so that the flanges are on the side of the bracket instead of in the middle. Four 1.5" U-bolts attach the brackets to the tower legs.

Please note that enclosures with the "-TM" option are shipped configured for the UT10 tower. UT20 and UT30 customers will need to: (1) remove the bolts attaching the bracket to the enclosure, (2) slide out the flange sections so that the distance between the center of each flange is 17", and (3) reattach the bracket to the enclosure using the original bolts.
-PM -PM Pole Mounting, 4-10in
Choose the "-PM" option to mount the enclosure on a pole with a 4" to 10" OD. This option includes two stainless-steel brackets and two metal bands. One bracket is attached to the top of the enclosure and the other bracket is attached to the bottom of the enclosure. The metal bands are then routed through the brackets and wrapped around the pole. Screw clamps at the end of each band are used to tighten the bands around the pole.

The "Typically Ships Within" value is an estimate of the number of calendar days within which this product is ready to ship from Campbell Scientific. Orders with more than 10 built-to-order products will likely increase the time needed to prepare the order for shipping.

To estimate how long it will take to receive an order that contains multiple products, combine the longest Ships Within value with the transit time of the shipping method you select.

Some specialized products have long Ships Within values. Because of this, you might consider submitting a separate order for these products so your other products won't be delayed.

Replacement Parts

28878

The 28878 is a replacement humidity indicator card. It provides a visual reference of humidity level inside the enclosure. Colored circles change color from blue to pink to indicate humidity levels of 30%, 40%, and 50% relative humidity. Double sticky tape on the back of the card allows it to be easily secured to an enclosure lid.
6401

This anodized aluminum backplate is completely pre-punched with a matrix of 1"-on-center holes. It is available as a replacement part for an existing ENC16/18 enclosure.
6832

One 6832 filter may be installed in one of the small compression fittings (cable entry seals) in the enclosure to allow air pressure to equalize between the inside and outside of the enclosure. As such, the filter is used only when the cable entry seals option is selected for the enclosure (item 6447). The filter is typically used when a barometric pressure sensor (or, in some cases, the cable termination of a vented submersible pressure transducer) will be located inside the enclosure. The filter has a 60 micron pore size.
7363

The enclosure supply kit includes desiccant, a humidity indicator card, cable ties, wire tie tabs, putty for sealing the conduit, and screws and grommets for attaching peripherals to the enclosure backplate.

The 27329 allows the ENC16/18 enclosure to be attached to the leg base of a CM106 tripod. This bracket is the same as the "-LM" option for the ENC16/18 enclosure. It may be ordered as a replacement part if the bracket gets damaged or if another option was originally chosen.

A couple of these nuts are attached to the enclosure bracket. The nut may be purchased to replace a lost or damaged nut.
