Allowed values: 1-1500 ft, increments of 1 ft

The cable contains a vent tube so that the sensor head can reach equilibrium with atmospheric pressure. Recommended cable length is 25, 50, 75, or 100 ft.

Maximum Length:

  • 1500 ft (SDI-12 output and one sensor connected to a single port)
  • 200 ft (SDI-12 output and ten sensors connected to a single port)
  • 200 ft (RS-232 output)
Accuracy Options - show details
-SA -SA Std 0.1% Accuracy
This option provides ±0.1% FS over 0° to 60°C temperature range.
-HA -HA Higher 0.05% Accuracy
The high accuracy option provides ±0.05% FS over the 0° to 60°C temperature range. A calibration certificate that contains calibration information specific to the individual unit is shipped with a CS451 that has the high accuracy option.

-7 -7 0-7.25psig (50kPa)
Select this range if the anticipated pressure on the transducer will never exceed 7.25 psig (50 kPa), which is equivalent to 5.1 m (16.7 ft) of fresh water.
-14 -14 0-14.5psig (100kPa)
Select this range if the anticipated pressure on the transducer will never exceed 14.5 psig (100 kPa), which is equivalent to 10.2 m (33.4 ft) of fresh water.
-29 -29 0-29psig (200kPa)
Select this range if the anticipated pressure on the transducer will never exceed 29 psig (200 kPa), which is equivalent to 20.4 m (67 ft) of fresh water.
-72 -72 0-72.5psig (500kPa)
Select this range if the anticipated pressure on the transducer will never exceed 72.5 psig (500 kPa), which is equivalent to 50.9 m (167 ft) of fresh water.
-145 -145 0-145psig (1000kPa)
Select this range if the anticipated pressure on the transducer will never exceed 145 psig (1000 kPa), which is equivalent to 102 m (334.5 ft) of fresh water.
Nose Cone Options - show details
-SN -SN w/Standard Nose Cone
Choose this option for standard applications.
-WN -WN w/Weighted Nose Cone
This weighted nose cone makes it easier to submerge the transducer to depth.
-NN -NN w/NPT Fitting
An NPT nose cone allows the transducer to be used in closed-pipe applications. The NPT nose cone option has a 1/4 in. NPT fitting.
Label Options - show details
-NL -NL No OEM Label
With this option, the pressure transducer is shipped without a label allowing the OEM to use their own label.
-FL -FL Company F OEM Label
With this option, the pressure transducer will include a company label instead of the Campbell Scientific label.

Cable Termination Options - show details
-PT -PT w/Tinned Wires
With the -PT option, the cable terminates in pigtails that connect directly to the datalogger.
-PW -PW w/Pre-Wire Connector
With the -PW option, the cable terminates in a connector that attaches to a prewired enclosure.
-CWS -CWS w/CWS900 Connector
With the -CWS option, the cable terminates in a connector that attaches to a CWS900-series interface. Connection to a CWS900-series interface allows the sensor to be used in a wireless sensor network.

Replacement Parts

25366
 
The 25366 may be purchased to replace a damaged desiccant tube. The CS451 is shipped with this small desiccant tube attached to it. The transducer's cable includes a vent tube that terminates inside of the 25366. The desiccant tube prevents water vapor from entering the inner cavity of the transducer.

Services

 
The 25425 requires an RMA (Returned Material Authorization) from Campbell Scientific. When it is ordered, we will recalibrate the transducer to meet original specifications. Before and after calibration sheets are supplied with the pressure transducer.
 
The 25479 is the calibration certificate for the pressure transducer. Although every transducer is calibrated, a calibration certificate is not automatically shipped with the sensor. When a customer orders a calibration certificate, the customer will get a calibration certificate that contains calibration information specific to the individual unit.
