Overview

The LS8077 interrogates and resets 16-bit pulse counters 80 times a second instead of the standard 8 times a second. This PROM requires that all analog measurements be made using fast integration (eliminates 2.72 ms integration, which is useful in ac rejection). The LS8077 should be used with the OSX-0.1 PROM. See the LS6171 for similar functionality with OSX-1.1 PROM.

Detailed Description

The LS8077 interrogates and resets 16-bit pulse counters 80 times a second instead of the standard 8 times a second. This PROM requires that all analog measurements be made using fast integration (eliminates 2.72 ms integration which is useful in ac rejection). The LS8077 should be used with the with OSX-0.1 PROM. See the LS6171 for similar functionality with OSX-1.1 PROM.

The LS8077 can be installed by the customer or at our factory; if factory-installed, an RMA (Returned Material Authorization) is required. List price is for the PROM only. Please note that several units may be sent in on one RMA number. An additional service charge (one hour minimum) will be applied to each RMA.

Campbell Scientific strongly recommends that units sent to the factory go through a standard checkout. In most cases, Data Logger Recalibration and Extended Temperature Testing should also be considered.

Compatibility

The LS8077 is for our 21X and 21XL Microloggers. It should be used with the with OSX-0.1 PROM. See the LS6171 for similar functionality with OSX-1.1 PROM.
