About Circuit Breakers
Circuit breakers provide overcurrent protection. They are typically used in ac-powered circuits up to 277 Vac, and in dc circuits less than 100 Vdc. An inherit trait of a circuit breaker, as opposed to fuses, is the ability to reset the circuit after an overcurrent event. This can also be useful for disabling power to a system for service or maintenance. Please contact one of our Support and Implementation Engineers to discuss your requirements.
