The SP5-L is typically used with our CR200-series dataloggers but may be suitable for use with other dataloggers provided that the application's power requirements are low enough to permit recharge from an intermittent 5-Watt source. As such, the SP5-L may be suitable for applications situated in areas with good exposure to sunlight but with low system power requirements.
The SP5-L 5-Watt solar panel differs from its close relative, the SP5, only in its cable termination. The SP5-L's cable has a user-specified lead length that terminate in pigtails. It attaches directly to the terminal strip of the CR200 datalogger.
