SC532A

CS I/O Peripheral to RS-232 Interface

The SC532A is a 9-pin to 9-pin device that interfaces certain Campbell Scientific peripherals to the serial port of a computer. It is typically used with the SM4M, SM16M, CSM1 Card Storage Modules, and MD9 Multidrop Interfaces.

Features

  • Enables communications between a PC and some Campbell Scientific 9-pin peripherals
  • Provides power and converts the peripheral's logic levels to RS-232 levels
  • Replaces the SC532
  • Required to:
    • Transfer programs and data to a storage module
    • Download a new OS into an SM4M/SM16M
    • Program the SAT ARGOS
    • Change COM210 settings
    • Communicate with an MD9 network
