Additional Compatibility Information

Computer

Computer must be IBM-PC compatible with an RS-232 serial port.

Radios, Radio Modems, and Radio Base Stations

The RF232A is backward compatible with existing RF systems and DRL RF systems; it is NOT compatible with RF310-series radios.

If RF232A modems are used in a network containing RF500M modems or RF500B base stations then the RF232A modems must use the -TD PROM; the data loggers must also be PakBus (-PB) versions.
