  • Major
Added ALERT operating mode, and updated DCU (Device Config Utility) settings to differentiate settings for ALERT vs ALERT2. See manual for details of ALERT mode.
  • Major
Added scheduling for ALERT transmissions to minimize transmission collisions between sites because of GPS sync’d clocks (necessary for logging). Default transmission times are based on s/n (which is also reported in DCU), with ability to override to a different transmit slot in case of collisions when deployed.
  • Minor
Added P1 Accumulator report format as 1 to 4-byte TBRG or GSR (with settable roll-over value). Default is 2-byte TBRG.
  • Minor
Added additional SDI-12 debugging and require temporarily disabling scheduled communication with peripherals when sending commands to SDI-12 sensors to prevent bus contention from long replies. Replies longer than the AL200X’s buffer will be truncated, since that info is normally available in the sensor’s manual (e.g. a very long response to aXHELP!).
  • Minor
Filter out listing of advanced commands in terminal response to HELP. Advanced commands can be enabled for that terminal session by issuing ALLWORDS (normal behavior can be reestablished by issuing USERWORDS).
  • Minor
Improved test button behavior in both ALERT2 and ALERT modes.
  • Minor
Clarified DCU selection of ALERT Mark and Space tones to reduce ambiguity in AL200 OS1 selections and removed deprecated pairs.
  • Minor
Disabled FP2 as a report format since some message parsers do not yet support it.
