This section includes batteries for our CR200-series dataloggers and large-capacity sealed rechargeable battery packs. The PS100 or other integrated power supplies that contain both the battery and regulator are not included in this section (see Integrated Power Supply section).
The CR200-series batteries require the purchase of a charging source (see charging source section). A separately purchased regulator is not required for these batteries because the CR200-series dataloggers contain a regulator as part of their integrated package.
Campbell Scientific offers the BP12 and BP24 for powering systems that have high current drain equipment. The BP12 and BP24 have nominal ratings of 12 and 24 Ahrs, respectively. To determine the best large capacity battery model, calculate your system's power requirements using the equations provided in the Power Supply application note. These large-capacity batteries should be connected to a charging source (e.g., wall charger, solar panel); a regulator is also required.
