Shades, draws ambient air past sensor
The 43502 compact aspirated shield from R. M. Young features a more compact size, easier mounting, and lower cost than the 43408 aspirated shield that it replaces. Using a continuous blower, it draws ambient air over the sensor while protecting the sensor from the interference of solar radiation. The result is more accurate temperature and humidity measurement. The 43502 shield is usually used with the 43347 RTD probe, but can accommodate temperature and humidity sensors up to 0.9-inch in diameter. The mounting bracket included on the shield attaches to posts or masts up to 2 inches in diameter.
The "-L" on a product model indicates that the cable length is specified at the time of order.
