The 6554 Single 0.16-Unit Silica Desiccant bag desiccates the inside of some of our dataloggers. When shipped, the datalogger has one bag of this desiccant inside of it. The supplied desiccant should fill the initial needs of most applications, but should be periodically replaced. Campbell Scientific recommends replacing this desiccant when the datalogger's internal lithium battery is replaced.
