The 20586 is a 1 W, 900 MHz Spread Spectrum Radio Kit used with our ET107 or ET106 weather stations. For the computer site, the kit contains an RF451 radio, 15966 ac transformer, 10873 RS-232 cable, 15970 dipole antenna, and a 17648 USB cable. For the field site, the kit contains another RF451 radio, 14241 antenna cable, and 18290 adjustable inclination mount. The field site's antenna is ordered as a common accessory.

RF451 radios provide a maximum transmission distance of 60 miles, and a realistic reliable transmission distance of approximately 13 miles. All transmission distances assume line-of sight and appropriate antenna (line-of-sight obstructions, RF interference, and antenna type will affect transmission distance).
