Technical Description

The 16981 Surge Suppressor Kit can help protect a TX320, TX312 or OMNISAT-M satellite transmitter from electrical transients conducted through the antenna cable. The kit contains a 1.5-ft cable (COAXNTN-L1.5) that attaches the transmitter to the kit's surge suppressor. The other end of the surge suppressor attaches to the antenna cable (COAXNTN-L). The antenna cable is purchased separately.

16981 Specifications

The 16981 Surge Suppressor Kit includes the following:

  • Surge Suppressor (PolyPhaser® IS-50NX-C2 or similar). The surge suppressor is fitted with two type N female connectors
  • COAXNTN-L1.5 that connects the surge suppressor to the transmitter.
  • #4335 ground wire (1.5 ft length)
  • Screws and grommets that secure the ground wire and Surge Suppressor to an enclosure backplate
