Overview

A calibration procedure that can be performed by the user is described in the manual. The 16564 is offered for customers wanting factory calibration. When factory calibration is ordered, Campbell Scientific will calibrate the rain gage using a procedure similar to that described in the manual (summing the recorded tips expected given a known volume of liquid passing through the gage and then adjusting the calibration based on the result). The 16564 requires an RMA (Return Material Authorization).
