Loosing connection between CR6 and CDM-A108

Yoann MICHIELIN Nov 17, 2016 04:13 PM

Hello,

I have a problem between the CR6 and the CDM-A108 analog input module : The CR6 runs a program wich makes analog measurements every 10 minutes on the CDM-A108. The measurements are OK during a random amount of time (3 days to a few weeks) and then the module only returns "NaN". I suppose that the connection between the CR6 and the CDM-A108 is lost. When I reboot the CDM-A108, it temporary works again.

I noticed that the status LED on the CDM A108 is blinking red most of the time, and is just blinking green during the measurement. I saw in the datasheet that this means : "Device has been configured but is not
receiving sync signals". There isnt any information about the sync signal in the datasheet...

Can you please explain to me what is the sync signal ?

Have you got any clue about what happens ?

Thank you for your answer,

Yoann

Yoann,

Are you using OS version 5.01 in the CR6?  There are a few changes made in the CR6 to address connection issues with CDM devices.

Hi,

Actually updating the CR6 and CDMA108 OS fixed the problem.

Thanks for help,

Yoann
