When a data logger is used with a water sampler, historical data can be stored, and complex calculations can be computed. When a third component, a communications peripheral, is interfaced with the data logger, then the data and calculations can be transmitted offsite automatically for viewing in near real time. This information can be downloaded to a computer for extended storage, further analysis, sharing, and reporting.
