About Enclosures

Campbell Scientific enclosures are designed specifically for data acquistion applications. They protect equipment from dust, water, sunlight, or pollutants. Their white color reflects solar radiation, which reduces thermal gradients within the enclosure, a potential source of error in thermocouple measurements.

FAQs for

How can more of the putty used to seal the enclosure’s cable-entry conduit be ordered?

The putty is shipped as part of the 7363 Enclosure Supply Kit. To order additional putty by itself, specify p/n 6596.

Can a display be put on the outside of an enclosure?

Yes. The CD100 mounts in an enclosure door and supports all of the CR1000KD's capabilities. With the CD100, historic and real-time data can be read, and instructions can be entered without opening the enclosure door.

Also available are the CD295 and CD294, which display real-time data only.

What sizes do backplates come in?

Backplates are available in sizes designed to fit in Campbell Scientific enclosures: 10 x 12 in., 12 x 14 in., 14 x 16 in., and 16 x 18 in.
