Model Description
CS450-L Pressure Transducer SDI-12 /RS-232, Stainless Steel
CS450-L Options (hide details)
-L ft cable per sensor
The cable contains a vent tube so that the sensor head can reach equilibrium with atmospheric pressure. Recommended cable length is 25, 50, 75, or 100 ft.

Maximum Length:
  • 1500 ft (SDI-12 output and one sensor connected to a single port)
  • 200 ft (SDI-12 output and ten sensors connected to a single port)
  • 200 ft (RS-232 output)
Accuracy Options (hide details)
-SA -SA Std 0.1% Accuracy
The standard accuracy option provides ±0.1% FS over the 0° to 60°C temperature range.
Pressure Ranges (hide details)
-2 -2 0-2.9psig (20kPa)
Select this range if the anticipated pressure on the transducer will never exceed 2.9 psig (20 kPa), which is equivalent to 6.7-feet of fresh water.
-7 -7 0-7.25psig (50kPa)
Select this range if the anticipated pressure on the transducer will never exceed 7.25 psig (50 kPa), which is equivalent to 16.7-feet of fresh water.
-14 -14 0-14.5psig (100kPa)
Select this range if the anticipated pressure on the transducer will never exceed 14.5 psig (100 kPa), which is equivalent to 33.4-feet of fresh water.
-29 -29 0-29psig (200kPa)
Select this range if the anticipated pressure on the transducer will never exceed 29 psig (200 kPa), which is equivalent to 67.0-ft of fresh water.
-72 -72 0-72.5psig (500kPa)
Select this range if the anticipated pressure on the transducer will never exceed 72.5 psig (500 kPa), which is equivalent to 167.0-feet of fresh water.
-145 -145 0-145psig (1000kPa)
Select this range if the anticipated pressure on the transducer will never exceed 145 psig (1000 kPa), which is equivalent to 334.5-feet of fresh water.
Calibration Certificate (hide details)
-NC -NC No Calibration Cert
A CS450 with the standard accuracy option is calibrated, but a calibration certificate is not shipped with it.
-CC -CC Calibration Cert
Only specify this option for sensors with the standard accuracy option; a calibration certificate is included for sensors with the high accuracy option.

If this option is specified, a calibration certificate that contains calibration information specific to the individual unit is shipped with a CS450 that has the standard accuracy option.
-HA -HA Higher 0.05% Accuracy
The high accuracy option provides ±0.05% FS over the 0° to 60°C temperature range. A calibration certificate that contains calibration information specific to the individual unit is shipped with a CS450 that has the high accuracy option.

Common Accessories
25414 CS450 or CS455 Weighted Nose Cone
The 25414 nose cone adds 0.465 lbs (0.211 kg) of weight to the CS450. Additional weight makes the transducer easier to submerge to depth.
25431 Split Mesh Cable Grip, 0.180 - 0.250
The 25431 Split Mesh Cable Grip is recommended for use in wells to center the cable and to provide a method of suspending the cable, reducing cable stretch.
25366 CS450 Replacement Desiccant Tube
The transducer's cable incorporates a vent tube that terminates inside of the 25366 desiccant tube. The 25366 is offered as a common accessory for customers who want a spare desiccant tube.
A200 Sensor to PC Interface
The A200 interfaces a CS450 with a PC, allowing sensor settings to be changed via our Device Configuration Utility (DevConfig).
A150-L Single Sensor Terminal Case, Vented w/Desiccant
The A150 desiccated case is a small, self-contained junction box that allows the CS450 to be connected to a PWENC connector or a CWS900 wireless sensor connector.
A150-L Options (hide details)
-L ft per cable
The A150 desiccated case is a small, self-contained junction box that allows the CS450 to be connected to a PWENC connector or a CWS900 wireless sensor connector.
Cable Termination Options (hide details)
-PT -PT w/Tinned Wires
The A150 desiccated case is a small, self-contained junction box that allows the CS450 to be connected to a PWENC connector or a CWS900 wireless sensor connector.
-PW -PW w/Pre-Wire Connector
The A150 desiccated case is a small, self-contained junction box that allows the CS450 to be connected to a PWENC connector or a CWS900 wireless sensor connector.
-CWS -CWS w/CWS900 Connector
The A150 desiccated case is a small, self-contained junction box that allows the CS450 to be connected to a PWENC connector or a CWS900 wireless sensor connector.
Replacement Parts
25366 CS450 Replacement Desiccant Tube
The 25366 may be purchased to replace a damaged desiccant tube. The CS450 is shipped with this small desiccant tube attached to it. The transducer's cable includes a vent tube that terminates inside of the 25366. The desiccant tube prevents water vapor from entering the inner cavity of the transducer.
Services
25425 CS450 or CS455 Recalibration w/Documentation
The 25425 requires an RMA (Returned Material Authorization) from Campbell Scientific. When it is ordered, we will recalibrate the CS450 to meet original specifications. Before and after calibration sheets are supplied with the pressure transducer.
25479 CS450 Certificate of Calibration for S/N???
The 25479 is the calibration certificate for the CS450 Pressure Transducer. Although every CS450 is calibrated, a calibration certificate is not automatically shipped with the sensor. When a customer orders a calibration certificate, the customer will get a calibration certificate that contains calibration information specific to the individual unit.
27442 CS450 or CS455 Recabling Kit
The 27442 kit allows you to replace a damaged cable.
