Replacement Parts
6554 Desiccant 1/6 Unit Bag
The 6554 Single 0.16-Unit Silica Desiccant bag desiccates the inside of the CR510. When shipped, the datalogger has one bag of this desiccant inside of it. The supplied desiccant should fill the initial needs of most applications, but should be periodically replaced.
17168 CR510 Service Manual Requires Non-Disclosure Agreement
The 17168 provides a CR510 Service Manual that includes assembly drawings and schematics only. This service manual does not contain detailed procedural or repair information. Prior to shipping, a signed nondisclosure agreement is required.
8025 3V Coin Cell 24mm Lithium Battery
This 3V Lithium battery maintains power to volatile areas of CR510 memory (e.g., clock) when the main power supply is disconnected or turned off. The 8025 should be periodically replaced.
3768 2-Pin Screw Terminal Plug Connector .2 inch pitch Straight Wire Entry 12-24 AWG Green Marked G 12V
This green, plug-in power connector is shipped attached to the CR510 datalogger. The 3768 provides screw terminals for connecting the 12 V and GND wires of the dataloggger's power supply.
13617 CR10X, CR510, & CR23X Mixed Array, PakBus (R), & Table Data Operating Systems on CD
The 13617 provides a CD containing the ordered Operating System (OS) and our Device Configuration Utility (DevConfig). DevConfig is required to download the new OS to the datalogger.
13625 CR510 Alert Operating System on CD
The 13625 provides a CD containing an ALERT Operating System (OS) for the CR510 and our Device Configuration Utility (DevConfig). DevConfig is required to download the new OS to the CR510. The ALERT OS allows the CR510 to store and transmit data in the ALERT format (flood warning system).
13626 CR510 MODBUS Operating System on CD
The 13626 provides a CD containing a Modbus Operating System (OS) for the CR510 and our Device Configuration Utility (DevConfig). DevConfig is required to download the new OS to the CR510. The Modbus OS allows the CR510 to interface with SCADA and MMI software packages.
12306 CR510 Prompt Sheet
The 12306 provides a laminated CR510 prompt sheet (covers the mixed-array operating system only). This prompt sheet was included with the CR510 manual. Additional printed and laminated copies may be purchased from us.
17153 CR510 Operators Manual
The 17153 provides the CR510 Operator's Manual in paper form (bound in a 3-ring binder). This manual was included with all CR510 orders. The CR510 Operator's Manual should only be ordered if you wish to purchase a bound paper copy of the manual as a replacement item.
Services
16547 CR510 Recalibration w/ Documentation,-25 to +50C
The 16547 requires an RMA (Returned Material Authorization) from Campbell Scientific. When this service is ordered, the CR510 is recalibrated to meet original specifications. Recalibration includes standard temperature testing (-25° to +50°C). Before and after calibration sheets are supplied with the datalogger. The calibration price assumes return of a fully functional datalogger; charges for all repairs will be added to the invoice.
15848 CR510 Retested to Extended Temp,-55 to +85C
This service is available only for individual units that have previously passed Extended Temperature Testing. Retesting also requires concurrent purchase of recalibration, item number 16547.
16546 CR510 2M Memory Upgrade
The 16546 provides a memory upgrade consisting of a hardware modification. It increases the data storage capacity of a CR510 (or CR510-1M) to the storage capacity of a CR510-2M (one million low-resolution data points).
21852 A2LA/NVLAP Datalogger Calibration Service w/Calibration Certificate
This service increases delivery time by approximately one week. The 21852 is offered for customers who require calibration validation from an accredited calibration laboratory. When the 21852 is ordered, Campbell Scientific calibrates the datalogger, and then sends the datalogger to Simco Electronics in Salt Lake City, Utah. After Simco receives the datalogger, they perform a calibration validation under the A2LA/NVLAP accreditation. Simco also provides a calibration certificate.
16166 CR510 Tested to Extended Temp (-55 to +85C)
Individual dataloggers can be returned to Campbell Scientific on an RMA to determine if they can pass Extended Temperature Testing. Extended temperature testing of a previously purchased unit also requires purchase of recalibration.
