About Card Memory

Battery-backed memory cards are used with the CSM1 or MCR1 for data transfer or datalogger program transfer. The CSM1 and MCR1 are compatible only with dataloggers that store data in the mixed-array format (e.g., CR510, CR10, CR10X, CR23X, CR7). We offer three "credit-card-sized" RAM cards, which store from 1 Mbyte to 4 Mbytes of information.

The CSM1 was developed to be used in the field, but can be used in the office to interface to a computer via the SC532(A) Interface. The MCR1 is typically used in the office to read the data cards. The CSM1 and MCR1 were developed by Campbell Scientific Limited, U.K.
