SC100 1-Channel Serial Data Interface

1-Channel Serial Data Interface
  • Works between a datalogger and sensor (measurement and control), or datalogger and computer (communications)
  • Baud rates supported as a measurement and control peripheral: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19.2, and 38.4K
  • Operates in "Burst mode" as a communications peripheral

SC105 CS I/O to 9-Pin RS-232 DCE Synchronous Interface

CS I/O to 9-Pin RS-232 DCE Synchronous Interface
  • Supports communication between a datalogger and an RS-232 DCE device
  • Allows DCE devices to communicate with our dataloggers at rates up to 115.2 kbps
  • Provides internal buffering capability to ensure no data is lost during transmission

SC932A 9-Pin to 9-Pin RS-232 Interface

9-Pin to 9-Pin RS-232 Interface
  • Used to connect an RS-232 modem to a datalogger
  • Commonly used with:
    • Short haul modems
    • Fiber optic modems

SDS122 Two-Way Serial Data Switch

Two-Way Serial Data Switch
  • Provides one CS I/O port and one RS-232 port
  • Supports both DTE and DCE devices
  • Operates in either automatic or manual mode

SDS511 Dual CS I/O Port Adapter

Dual CS I/O Port Adapter
  • Allows two communication CS I/O devices to be connnected to one datalogger CS I/O port
  • Does NOT support concurrent communications between the two devices and the CS I/O port.
  • Recommended for devices that access the CS I/O port intermittently for a short duration

About Communication Peripherals

Most of our communications devices cannot communicate directly with our dataloggers; typically a communication peripheral and a cable are required to complete the connection. Communication peripherals facilitate communication between satellite transmitters, storage modules, sensors, DCE devices, DTE devices, fiber optic modems, or short haul modems with our dataloggers. They can also enable multiple communications devices to be connected at one time.
