Frequently Asked Questions: AVW100

1. Does your AVW100 work with instruction 28 from the data logger? I heard that only instruction 131 worked with the AVW100, but from your website it seemed both may work.

   Both the P28 and P131 instructions will work with the AVW100. The AVW100 was designed for sensors with measurement frequencies below 1000 Hz, so it is the best choice if any part of your transducer's swept frequency is below 1000 Hz. Compared to the P28 instruction, the P131 instruction has four additional user configured parameters, which allow the user to fine tune the measurement; otherwise, the P28 and P131 instructions are identical.
   
   

2. Can I know the AVW100 reading vibrating wire sensor's resolution in Hertz? Do the AVW1, AVW4, AVW100 have any certifications of compliance?

   The AVW1, AVW4 and AVW100 have a resolution of 0.1 Hz. Certifications of compliance for these items are not available.
