The 14384 Pilot Tool helps insertion of the CS616-L in high density or rocky soils. The pilot tool has rods of a similar diameter and identical spacing as the CS616. The pilot tool can therefore be driven into soil using force levels that might damage the CS616.
When the pilot holes are completed, the 14384 is removed and the CS616 is inserted into established holes. Best results are obtained when the 14384 is used with the 14383.
